Big one at The Mennaye Field on Friday evening. Cornish Pirates v Saracens KO 7.30pm. Sold out!
Sarries have been here for a few days on a training camp so have all their players here including all the superstars.
They've done some joint training session with The Pirates and will be doing coaching sessions for youngsters prior to the game.

Testing cannabis cigarettes with the opposition is an unusual way to prepare for the new season!

It does help the props gain some mass though

Actually I believe the opposite is true.
(So a friend told me!)

Nottingham v Rosslyn Park on Saturday cancelled. Reason given on Nottingham social media is RP can’t raise a team.
Hope all okay in the RP camp and it’s nothing too serious. Nottingham have replaced the game with an open training session instead.

Can't come quick enough for me. I hope you all feel the same?

Just thought I'd mention this
At our Fans Forum earlier this week, it was mentioned, or intimated, that the end of season playoffs ( no, I am not a fan either, but they are here!) , at the semi-final stage could be played at neutral grounds, and.not Champ grounds.
Interesting?

I believe this was mentioned at the end of last season and met with some astonishment that those who had come up with such an idea were happy to reduce potential attendances by removing the home support.

I think it is fine as it is.
This way it rewards the team who finishes higher up the league.
There would be a case for the Final being on a neutral ground but really there is no promotion at stake so I think it’s fine as it is.
