It would normally have been 5 points to 2 but due to the new rules it is 4pts to Nottingham & 1 to Blackheath.
Blackheath gain a losing bonus point for finishing within 7 but Notts didn’t get 3 tries more so didn’t get the attacking bonus.

The first half was really tight.
Blackheath were excellent at the breakdown and their pack looked good. It looked like Notts would
Run away with it early in the first half, but Blackheath did well to stay in the game and more than deserved their bonus point. A great advert for the league and and well officiated

I see the Nottingham replacement front row were all ex Leicester Lions, nice to see them step, all be it Sio left the Lions a few years ago now.

He’s been with us for a very long time so it would have been!! I know both Oli Crane and Arthur Allen turned out for Lions last season tho

Aneseko played for the Lions when they were in Nat 2 North, he joined from Leicester Tigers and helped with the coaching, even after he left and joined Nottingham for a year or so.
