I have to say Roth produced a master class in the first half with two sublime hand offs from Shaw both taken and scored by Barling who completed his hat trick in the second half.

The wind was extremely strong second half accompanied by driving rain, and it turned into a slugfest in the second half with Roth unable to get out of their half for long periods.

Nonetheless on the two occasions we did get in their half we made it count with a sublime pick up and try from a long pass & also a penalty try.

So a masterclass in the first half from Roth and a strong second half from Caldy but Roth secure a good victory which makes it three wins out of 4.

Good night all.

I don’t know whether anybody from Ealing posts on here, but curious as to whether Isaac Shaw just didn’t get opportunities there in a dominant side or didn’t take them when he did.

He’s been transformational for Roth, along with the signing of Jackson Barling & at 23 is still improving.

Roth taking the penalty towards the end made all the difference, as for the last 10 minutes or so it meant it was more than a one score game. nice to see that penalties still have a place in the game

Meant to add that there were two cracking games on Clubber, who needs the premiership! Hopefully Worcester can make it over the line today, as last season we lost away and only won at home with the play of the game against the Archers
