All feeling very new this season. Here we go again, looking forward to 9 months of getting them all wrong!!.

Nottingham 4 - 1 Blackheath - Club will give a good account of themselves but come up just short.

Caldy 1 - 5 Hartpury RFC - Pury normally start the season well.
Rotherham Titans 2 - 5 Coventry - Would love Roth to win this one but Coventry are a class side and should do it narrowly in a high-scoring game.
Worcester Warriors 5 - 1 Bedford - Warriors to put down an early marker at home.
Chinnor 1 - 4 Ealing - Chinnor will fancy a scalp here but still backing Ealing to win a close one.
Richmond 1 v Ampthill 4 - Not really sure about this one but going with the Mob.

Cornish Pirates 5 v 1 Doncaster - This is probably an opening fixture that the Knights could have done without. Penzance has rarely been a happy hunting ground. Expecting Pirates to start the season strongly given the momentum that’s currently around the club.

I have just done a new standalone post in the Champ forum about the changes with regard to the bonus point system this season (changes apply to winning losing and drawing).
This new system doesn’t apply to Nat 1 or 2 though.

Please review your forecasts ahead of the Champ start next week to avoid being caught out.

Hard to Judge as usual so here are my thoughts

Nottingham. 4-1 Blackheath
Notts usually start the season well Club need to adjust
Caldy 0-4 Hartpury RFC
not seen a a great deal of activity Pury who knows
Rotherham Titans 4 -1 Coventry
Titans did look good last year just. a hunch
Worcester Warriors 4-1 Bedford Blues
Have to go for home side Bedford recruitment ?
Chinnor 1-5 Ealing Trailfinders
Hard to go against ET
Richmond 4-1 Ampthill
not a clue
Cornish Pirates 4-0 Doncaster Knights
tough start for DK especially after last seasons under performance
