I agree Camquin.
Personally I like the three try gap bonus point as it removes the situation where a heavily beaten team get a point for scoring four tries in a, say, 80-20 loss which has always been daft in my opinion.
It does also remove the possibility of collusion between two sides needing every point in a relegation battle who agree to forget about defence until both have four tries when the game proper starts. (I appreciate it is unlikely but it was nevertheless a possibility previously).
